Résumé

Hello — I'm Wiem Ibn Cheikh, a Tunisian researcher with a Bachelor's degree in Geopolitics and International Relations, currently completing a Research Master's in Migration Studies: Governance, Policies, and Cultures.

In 2025, I spent a semester at Uppsala University through the Erasmus+ programme — an experience that enriched my academic journey and broadened my intercultural perspective. I'm now finishing my Master's Thesis, which explores the links between migration and climate change — a topic that reflects both my academic focus and my personal commitment to social and environmental justice.

With over a decade of experience in civil society at national and international levels, I work to make complex geopolitical and societal issues accessible to young people. Through my social media content, I inform Tunisian youth about current affairs through a geopolitical lens and share opportunities for engagement at local, national, and international scales.

My journey has taken me from grassroots initiatives in Tunisia to volunteering experiences in France, where I embraced intercultural challenges and deepened my commitment to global citizenship.

I'm currently seeking new professional and engagement opportunities where I can apply expertise in migration, geopolitics, and civic engagement — and continue learning in dynamic international environments. Always open to collaboration, knowledge exchange, and networking.

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

— Margaret Mead
